KEMPER BUSINESS SOLUTIONS

About

Jonathan D. Kemper graduated from Fort Lewis College of Business in Durango, Colorado in 2016. Since then, he gained extensive experience in various business aspects. He performed finance work for a company that owned multiple restaurant-bars and a salon mall across several cities in Arizona. In this role, he actively calculated sales tax, prepared annual tax reports, generated monthly Profit and Loss Statements, implemented a point-of-sale system, and managed payroll submissions.

From 2016 to 2022, Jonathan excelled in unique experiences, successfully securing Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans for the businesses. Despite enduring months of closure during the COVID Pandemic, he adeptly applied for and obtained loan approval for all applications, leading to eventual loan forgiveness. Furthermore, he diligently completed grant applications through cities, Maricopa County, Governor Ducey's office, the Internal Revenue Service's Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), and the Small Business Administration, providing critical support to these companies during the pandemic emergency declaration. In the same period, he also assisted a Phoenix-based electronics company, facing similar hardships, by applying for various sources of support.

From 2022 to May 2023, Jonathan assumed the role of Head of Finance and Human Resources at a multinational printed stationery company. As a member of the management team, he actively conducted monthly invoice reconciliation, utilized Avalara for nationwide sales tax calculation, computed commissions for the sales team, established Foreign Entities to expand the company's operations beyond Arizona, and successfully orchestrated a major relocation from Phoenix to Tempe, Arizona.

Throughout his career, Jonathan recognized the prevalent need for quality business services among small business owners who often lack the resources to hire full-time support. Consequently, he founded Kemper Business Solutions, LLC to address this gap and provide assistance to small business owners, aiming to prevent costly errors and mitigate audit risks.
